UPDATE: IMPORTANT INFORMATION CORONAVIRUS (COVID- 19):

Due to this current situation we will be implementing a non contact delivery policy.

Canberra Hospital: 

An update from the Canberra Hospital on 25 March 2020 has advised that they will not be accepting flower deliveries to the hospital due to the current covid-19 situation. At this point in time we will not be accepting deliveries to the Canberra Hospital.

John James Hospital,  Calvary Hospital and National Capital Private are still acceptable at this point in time and will be delivered to main reception.

Residential and units: 

For the safety of our staff and community we will now be implementing non contact delivery. All orders going to a residence or a non secure unit complex will be left at the front door. The Floral Society takes no responsibility if the flowers are stolen.

Hospitals and Aged Care Deliveries:

Deliveries to John James Hospital, Calvary Hospital and National Capital Private are still acceptable at this point in time and will be delivered to main reception.

Aged care deliveries will be left at the main reception for staff to distribute.

Medical Practices: 

For the safety of our staff, doctors, elderly and the community we will not be delivering to Medical Practices at this point in time.

Business Deliveries:

For business deliveries, orders will be left at main reception or security for collection. Make sure you double check that the business allows this.

For businesses that do not allow this please make note at the checkout and provide sender details. The delivery driver will contact on arrival for collection, and both will need to follow the social distancing measures placed by the government.

With a lot of businesses now working form home make sure you check the delivery information before submitting your order. We highly recommend sending to residential homes with the non contact policy in place, this is for the safety of our staff and community.

Secured Unit and Residential Complex: 

If flowers are going to a secure complex please make sure the receiver is home. The delivery driver will ring the receiver through their telecom upon arrive and we will leave the flowers at the secured lock door entry point to the unit complex for them to come down and collect to avoid face to face contact, and to comply with social distancing measures.

If there is  no answer The Floral Society will contact the sender to rearrange a re-delivery which in incur another delivery fee.

Make sure at check out you provide the most accurate information to avoid a failed delivery.

If the receiver does not answer and is not home, this will result in a failed delivery and the delivery driver must continue with the journey, The Floral Society will contact the sender to arrange redelivery which not guarantee on the same due to predefined routes and flowers being in transit. Redelivery fee is $15.00.

IMPORTANT NOTE: 

If the recipient is in isolation it is mandatory to note this at checkout for the safety of our staff and community. We will not be accepting any orders to a secure complex when the recipient is in insolation as we are unable to get direct access to the unit door without making contact.

With the recent announcement by government about the closure of gyms, cinemas, entertainment venues and beauty salons we will not be able to deliver to these places. We recommend sending to a residential address.

Hump Day Wednesdays: 

Hump day Wednesdays will still be continuing at this point in time. Any orders for delivery or pick up on Wednesdays will receive a free dessert from The Sugar Deli (an online dessert store). This is available until sold out and due to current circumstances. For any health concerns or allergies please contact the sugar deli www.thesugardeli.com.au. The Floral Society takes no responsibility for this.

Pick up Orders/ Coming into store:

If you wish to pick up your bunch please pre order online and select pick up at the checkout field when placing your order. This is for the safety of our staff, community, and to comply with the social distancing measures that the government has imposed. Alternatively if your having issues online you can give us a call and place an order over the phone.
